just putting it out there
if any colleges (community, harvard, tech schools) want to give me an honorary degree. ill show up- do a meet and greet- and put on the cap and gown. i just want my mom to have a degree to put on her wall. i just dont really want to do the 13 credits i have left to do it. ill be inspirational in my speech or tell em “what the real world is like”. taking any and all applicants.
we realize that weve kind of become known as the band that has whiney lyrics, eyeliner, kleenex and listen to the cure. we do have a sense of humor every once in awhile between pity parties.

i have a speech writer on staff. so everything i say every day is actually scripted. if i pause and look like im listening to you if you look very closely i have a tiny ear piece in and im just waiting on my next line. it doesnt work well if i get out of range thats why i say stupid stuff sometimes.

advice wanted from moms and dads (tl;dr)
we want to raise our son as a citizen of the world. not just a citizen of l.a or the u.s.a.. we want him to empathize with people in the congo, mexico, kansas, uganda, brazil, china, burma… the same as with with his neighbors. anyone have any good ideas on how to go about this? anyone been through this before? any good books or activities for it?
