so my friends monica hooked me up with this amazing oldschool crank record player. its sweet for slow dances.

one night on tour we found a stray dog on the side of the highway. he looked hungry so hem donated some food to him. my friend tom took an amazing picture that kind of captured the moment and then made a giant print of it for me. i wanna put together a book of all the memories of stuff my friends have taken pictures of. travis reminded me that these are kind of mickey and mallory.

i found this painting in a store in santa monica. it wasnt very expensive and i cant remember the artists name off the top of my head. but i just loved it. the canvas is treated with something that makes it look and feel like a brick wall. thunder thunder thunder…

its funny the way life turns. honestly, in a couple of weeks noone will probably care much about what i wear when i go buy milk and the world will probably be better off that way. its an amazing feeling to realize that you are excited to wake up next to the same person every day forever. if anything it has given me a renewed love for fall out boy and excitement for new songs. i cant wait to get in a room with some guitars and friends again. i feel truly moved by the way so many people care about some little thing we made in the suburbs of chicago and one day this will be a funny adventure story to tell some youngin’s.

though today i recieved some really bad news in my family and it got me thinking that sometimes its good to cast light on someone else who is having a tough time. rather than tell you my own family id like to share something about someone my mom told me about today. she told me about about a man who works in my grandma’s retirement home who is just a very quiet, amazing soul. she said that he is diabetic and is in dire need of an organ transplant but cant afford treatment. she said that the retirement home asked for a couple of signed cds because they are having a spaghetti dinner fundraiser on may fourth and they hope to raise a couple of hundred dollars, but not much. for some reason this completely bummed me out. that doesnt really seem like enough for someone who is someone’s dad or brother. i know lots of you dont have a ton of cash to throw around but i also have met so many of you guys who are just good peeps. like i said i dont know the man. his name is daniel and if you have any amount of money or even just a nice letter send it along care of:

ms. leta strube
mather lifeways
suite 1800
1603 orrington
evanston, il
60201

they need the donations and whatnot by may fourth. this is probably very singular and strange compared to shedding light on things such as live earth or invisible children. but the story moved me. and i hope someone would do the same for someone i care about. at least thatd be a bit more interesting than watching me get coffee every day or whatever.

thanks. stay good or bad or whatever.
