a few notes… we had a plan to put our record out on november fourth on election day. we rushed to get all of the parts of it done and are very proud of them. in the end after the interviews and much consideration if felt cheap to us. this thing is bigger than fall out boy (though i doubt anyone was questioning that to begin with). most of the questions we were being asked were particularly partisan, we decided to change to the date- many at our label suggested we wait until the first quarter next year. this didnt seem fair to ourselves or our fans. so we will be releasing the record in middecember. the songs will still be released on i-tunes leading up and everything will remain the same with the record. the only thing we may do is add some little surprises here and there (with the golden tickets that will be available hidden inside select packages). we apologize if we let anyone down but we feel as though we would be letting everyone down in a worse way if we had continued to let the record come out on this date. hopefully you understand. we are as frustrated as you. please take the time to look into the elections and vote or become involved if you can…
patrick did a great two piece interview over at absolutepunk.net - i am glad to see and hear the rest of the guys in the band speaking up more and more…
with out looking it up can you guess everyone who sings on “what a catch, donnie” (besides patrick obviously).
on a personal note as i said watching the palin/biden debate it seemed as though it was a wash… what are you guys thoughts on the latest presidential debate (edit between mccain and obama)?
