so i guess its a big day for everyone- one way or another no matter what you are thinking. i dont really want to force my views on anyone. im just some guy in a band who doesnt spell that great much less have a degree in anything. so i turned to my dad (has a couple degrees and spells much better, besides hes a hero to me). blech enough of that… heres what he had to say:
"I have spent the weekend and now working on the Obama campaign. The weekend was in Florida going door to door in neighborhood of people of West Indian descent. Tremendous enthusiasm and people waiting over 2 hours to vote early.
Now in Ohio with over 4,000 other lawyers poll watching. We want to make sure the lines went smoothly and people aren’t disenfranchised. Started in a rural location outside Columbus. No lines and no controversy. Moving to an African-American church in Columbus with longer lines. They are doing better managing turnout this year than in 04, where an estimated 15,000 people gave up because lines were too long. Maybe cost Kerry the election.
Mom and I met in Washington when we were both legislative assistants to Senator Biden when he was in his first term. I had worked in his campaign and your mother had been in the Foreign Service. We started out as friends and the rest is history.”
